![]() ![]() Its use here may suggest that, in this reality, the Vulcans and Romulans have similarly unified. On the screen we see that image of Rios, now a Colonel in the Confederation, fighting near Vulcan, which is labeled in parentheses as "Ni'Var." Fans of "Star Trek: Discovery" will recall that in the far future where the series is now set, the planet Vulcan had been reunified with their Romulan cousins, and changed their homeworld's name to Ni'Var to reflect that. This test has been seen several times, most famously in "Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan," but again in JJ Abrams' "Star Trek" reboot, and in an episode of "Star Trek: Prodigy." Counselor Troi took a different but similar test in her bid to become a full commander in the "TNG" episode "Thine Own Self." Saavik and David Marcus to the Genesis Planet in "Star Trek III: The Search For Spock."Īdmiral Picard also mentions to Raffi his intention to make some modifications to the Kobayashi Maru test, which is designed to evaluate an officer's decision-making skills in a no-win situation. The Grissom meanwhile, though not seen, was the name of the science vessel that carried Lt. The original Excelsior (NCC-2000, seen here in a museum of sorts) was captained by Sulu himself in "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country." While it wouldn't be unprecedented if Elnor's ship were the same Excelsior, it's most likely a newer ship with the same name. Sadly, it's faster to remodulate than use this pellet gun.Other ships include the Excelsior - captained by Raffi - where Elnor is assigned, and the USS Grissom. Useful, and just against the borg since it frees you from having to remodulate. If it could one or two shot enemies, or had like tripple the fire rate, it would be. The problem with the TR-116 is that it has the stopping power of wet paper and the fire rate of a musket. Or like how my lobi disco full auto melts one enemy at a time so I can burn through a crowd without even needing to use the alt fire(fights certainly feel like they last longer when I use it). Like beam Overload vs beam fire at will: a good BO will just melt stuff and make your fight more manageable even though FAW will probably parse higher as it spreads the damage all around. No, low damaging single target weapons are bad Hilt bashing is more effective than using it. I was shocked by how subpar it was after all the hype. The TR-116 is trash and it has always been trash, people that like it really need to open their eyes and realize how trash it really is. I'm satisfied being able to do elite content and play space barbie. Plus, doing top tier builds is a shite ton of work- too much like, well, work and I can be profoundly lazy. (I get a mean streak in me when I win, and can be a jerk when I lose if it feels like an unfair loss) to avoid being a dick I just prefer to avoid PvP altogether. Add on top of that I am an asshole wether I win or lose. Ultimately, between my disdain for the radial menu and my slow reaction time- I'm not well suited for PvP play. I have done PvP, mostly with people who I already knew or friends of people I know, even gone to Ker'rat a fair bit. Pit me and my friend against one another in identical builds and he wins out for the simple matter of being able to use the build more effectively. PvP is about being able to dish damage as well as take it or dodge it, but really comes down to(for console players at least) who can use thier clickies faster. DPRM is nice because it adds a survival buff whilst also adding a damage buff, so no matter if building for PvP PvE- it's a good console to have so it isnt a trade off like pretty well every other console, which does one or the other but not both, with some notable exceptions like Hull Image Refractors, and the Radiant one from Iconian rep.
